and fishstick makes 4. . .

I know. . .I've been scarce. That's mostly because I've been sleeping when Cole's sleeping and feeling pretty nasty when I'm not. . .

So Bill and I decided to really find out who reads this thing by announcing on our blog that. . .yes, indeed. . .we've recently discovered we're expecting baby #2. . .

Meet the fishstick (as we've affectionately nicknamed the new addition. . . guess that's what we saw when we first saw this picture):

The immediate families both know, so at least we told someone in person. ;-) And yes, it certainly took us by surprise, but. . .as you probably remember with Cole. . .having babies for us didn't really come easily, so we are pleasantly surprised.

Of course, my perfect world had these two spaced a bit farther apart. . .but, as I'm wrapping my head around what my life will entail soon enough, I'm thankful that when we're done diapers - we're done diapers. End of story. By the third kid. . .you're outnumbered. . .and Bill and I both recognize that's not where we'd like to be. ;-) Fishstick is the last. . . and, at least we're young. Right? ;-)

So far I'm feeling pretty sick but luckily. . .constantly chasing an 18 month old keeps that out of the front of your mind. . .

Cole got his molars last week. No combination of frozen carrots, teething rings, his fingers, our fingers or Tylenol has relieved his discomfort. They've popped through all the way, so I'm hoping life will get back to a less fussy, whiny, normal soon enough.

Besides that. . .we're still waiting to hear when Cole's first cousin on the Goguen side will be arriving. She was due last Wednesday and still no little one. . .so hopefully I'll be adding some pictures soon!

Geesh . .so many kids. . .in so little time, huh? ;-)

Congrats. Keep us posted on your journey as we still have no clue if we want to enter it. But I can only imagine you will have plenty more stories for your news article now. :)
